Candidates who want to teach as Bihar Special Education Teachers in Class I-V must pass BSSTET Paper 1. Candidates who want to teach as Bihar Special Education Teachers in Class VI-VIII must pass BSSTET Paper 2.

How To Apply for BSSTET Exam 2023?

  1. Visit the Bihar School Examination Board’s (BSEB) official website.
  2. Under the “BSSTET” section, click on the “Online Application” option.
  3. By clicking the “New Registration” button, you can create a new account.
  4. Enter your personal information, such as your name, birth date, and email address.
  5. Create and confirm a password.
  6. Please include a scanned copy of your passport-sized photo and signature.
  7. Choose whether you wish to apply for Paper I or Paper II.
  8. Choose the subject for which you want to apply.
  9. Enter your educational credentials.
  10. Enter any relevant experience.
  11. Make payment for the application cost.
  12. Fill out the application form and submit it.
  13. Print a copy of the application form for your records.

BSSTET Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The official notification stated the BSSTET 2023 Age Limit. According to the notification, the unreserved category has a minimum age limit of 18 years and a maximum age limit of 37 years.

Age relaxations are also available for candidates who fall into the reserved category. The age relaxation for the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test is shown in the table below.

Educational Qualification

PaperEducational Qualification
Paper – ISenior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year programme. Candidates with a Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education (D.El.Ed) are eligible.
Paper – IIPaper 2 will be considered for candidates who have earned a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.

A 2-year Bed in Special Education from a reputed institution with 55% grades is required.
