Tier 1 and Tier 2 are 2 sections of DSSSB recruitment selection process. Tier 1 examination is set to shortlist the candidates for Tier 2 examination. Final selection will be based on Tier 2 result. DSSSB Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer Exam Details – Tier 1 and Tier 2 Important Points Mentioned Below
Examination schemes for Tier 1 and Tier 2 are divided into various sections. Tier 1 section 1 includes subjects as General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, and Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension. There is another section for Tier 1 examination which is only for technical part. This includes subjects/topics related to the post applicable. Objective type multiple choice questions as per the recruitment rules will be a part of the technical examination.
Tier 2 examination comprise subjects as General Intelligence & reasoning ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English language & Comprehension. Syllabus remains the same as Tier 1 examination but the level would be a little higher. Applicants are requested to check the official Pdf for the same. DSSSB Result 2019 – JE and Assistant Engineer Selection Procedure, Cut Off, and Minimum Qualifying Marks
Selection of all the candidates applying for Jr Engineer and Asst Engineer shall be made on the basis of Tier 1 and Tier 2 examinations. Recruitment Board might add skill tests if required, as the subjects include technical topics. Tier 1 examinations are only for shortlisting the candidates. Selected applicants from One Tier Exam will then proceed towards Two Tier Exam.
As declared by the regulatory authority, cut off marks for categories might rise based on the number of vacancies and marks obtained. DSSSB Final List 2019 will be set according to the marks obtained in the Tier 2 Test. Cut Off would imply the same method. DSSSB Final Result 2019 will appear on the official website @ delhi.gov.in after the DSSSB Tier 2 Exams are over.
Category wise minimum qualifying marks for DSSSB Tier 1 and Tier 2 examination.
- General: 40%
- OBC (Delhi):35%
- SC/ST/PH (PwD):30%
- Ex-servicemen:5% relaxation (subject to a minimum of 30%)
Changes might or might not happen with the above. If it does, candidates will be surely notified. Negative Marking is included. Deduction of 0.25 marks is set for each wrong MCQ answer.
