Part IV –Personality test or Interview |
Major pointers to note for the HSSC Police SI Interview are that this selection procedure will comprise of 12 marks in the total recruitment process. Candidates who qualify for all the previous stages of the recruitment process will only be allowed to appear for the interview.
Furthermore, please note that it is imperative to qualify for the Personality test for getting selected for the Haryana State Police Recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector.
Part V – Document Verification |
There will be some advantages to candidates who is more qualified or have any other sport certificates.
For Sub-Inspector:-
- Education (maximum 07 marks): 04 Marks will be awarded to a candidate with higher education i.e. a Graduation degree in Law, Computer Engineering/Science, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Science, Police Science and Criminology from a recognized university of the country. This will be accompanied by an additional (03) marks for a post Graduate degree.
Please note: Candidates with a Post Graduate degree in any stream other than the ones mentioned above shall get no extra marks.
- Additional three (03) marks for any degree above Post graduation.
- NCC Certificate (03 marks): Candidate having NCC certificate of A, B or C, level will get 01, 02 and 03 marks respectively.

- Haryana Cadet Corps (HCC) Certificate (03 marks): Candidate having HCC certificate of A or B level shall get 01 and 03 marks.
- Additional Qualifications:10% weightage
- Miscellaneous:10% weightage
