CTET Online Application Form

Candidates who wish to appear in the CTET 2024 January Exam must submit their CTET Application Form, which is available for a limited time on the official website www.ctet.nic.in. CTET Application Fees

Online Payment: Fees can be paid with a debit card, a credit card, or net banking.

Offline Payment: Candidates can pay their application fee via E-Challan by depositing the stipulated fee in the CTET Exam Fee Account at Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

CTET Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Paper I

• Senior Secondary (or comparable) diploma with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the last year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under whatever name known) as defined by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) degree programme. OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completion of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and graduation with at least 50% grades are required.

For Paper II

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) programme. OR Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year B.A./B. Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed/B. Sc. Ed programme. OR Graduation with at least 50% grades and passing or enrolling in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) programme.
• Candidates who have completed a valid B.Ed programme recognised by the NCTE are eligible to take the TET/CTET. OR a postgraduate candidate with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. programme.

• Nationality

To be eligible for the CTET Exam 2023, candidates must meet the CTET Eligibility Criteria 2023. If a candidate does not match the following nationality requirements, his or her candidature may be terminated at any point of the selection process. The CTET Nationality Criteria 2023 is described in detail below.

• • A Nepalese subject.
  • A Bhutanese subject.
  • A Tibetian who arrived In India before the 1st of January 1962 to settle permanently in India.
  • Candidates who have migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, and Burma permanently reside in India.

• Age Limit

According to the CTET age limit, the minimum age to apply for the exam is 17. However, there is no defined maximum age for taking the exam. Candidates from reserved groups will be eligible for an age relaxation, according to government regulations. Candidates who meet the CTET age limit conditions are thus eligible to take the exam.
