IB SA and MTS Eligibility Criteria

  • Education Qualification –
  • Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education is required.
  • Possession of a domicile certificate from the state to which the candidates have applied.
  • Only for SA/MT Post.
  • Possession of a valid driving license for mortar vehicles (LMV) granted by the appropriate authority.
  • Understanding of motor mechanics.
  • After getting a valid driving license, you must have at least one year of experience driving a mortar automobile.

Age Limit

  • Candidates for Security Assistant/MT positions must be under the age of 27.
  • Candidates for Multi Tasking Staff must be between the ages of 18 and 25.

IB SA and MTS Syllabus – Tier 2

  • Candidates who pass the Tier 1 exam will be required to take the Tier 2 exam, which is divided into two sections.
  • Part 1 (Common to all candidates): Translate a 500-word paragraph from the local language/dialect to English and vice versa. This offline descriptive test will be worth 40 points and will last one hour.
  • Part 2 (Only for SA/Executives)- Speaking ability [to be examined during Tier III exam (Interview/ Personality test)]
  • The Tier II test is a qualifying exam. Tier-2 qualifying marks for SA/Exe are 20 out of 50 and 16 out of 40 for MTS/Gen.

IB SA and MTS Interview – Tier 3

Candidates who pass the Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams will be invited to an interview round for 50 points, which will be conducted by the Intelligence Bureau. This is the final level of the selection process, and candidates who pass this stage will be shortlisted to fill 1675 positions.
