The Commission has decided to fix qualifying marks in Paper-II:
- 17.5 i.e. 35% for UR category
- 16.5 i.e. 33% for all other reserved

The Staff Selection Commission of India has brought out SSC MTS Result for 2017-18 Descriptive Paper. The verification of the documents is expected to start by the 25th of February 2018.
The result for the SSC MTS 2017-18 descriptive paper has been released by the Staff selection commission on the 21st of February. The checking of the paper 2 is in progress and to accelerate the progress, the commission has decided to start the verification process of the documents.

Cutoff are the minimum marks required to be received by the individual in order to qualify for the examination. Any person who has gotten more than the cutoff marks will qualify for the next tier of selection and anyone who has gotten less than the cut off marks will be removed out of the selection process. So you can get a rough idea of whether you have qualified for the same by checking the cut off marks of your stream.

The result which was recently released is that of the tier one of the selection process. Now the ones who have got selected for the tier 1 will be sent in to the next tier that is tier 2. That has also been conducted and the result which has come out now is that of the final result which will determine the people selected for the final recruitment process.

- Check the result tab on the screen
- Search for SSC multitasking staff exam result link.
- Open the PDF and find your roll number and name.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Save the result using Ctrl+S and take a hard copy of the same for future reference.
