Education, Age and Other Eligibility Criteria
For Deputy Director post, candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution or pass in Section A and B of the Associate Membership Examination in Mechanical Engineering Branch from Institution of Engineers (India).
For Specialist Grade-III post, candidates should have
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in the Part II of Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
A Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty or Super-Specialty mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule-VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Obstetrics & Gynaecology); or Master of Surgery (Obstetrics & Gynaecology); or Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
- Not more than 35 years for Deputy Director.
- Not more than 40 years for Specialist Grade-III.
- SC/ST candidates get relaxation of 5 years.
- OBC candidates get relaxation of 3 years.
Candidates will be selected based on a recruitment test and personal Interview.
Application Procedure and Fees:
Procedure: Candidates need to apply only online against this advertisement on the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal upsconline.nic.in and NOT write to the Commission for Application forms.
Candidates are required to pay a fee of INR 25/- either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
